2. How do I know which massage to book?
Each service is designed to address different needs, but your treatment will always be personalised. Choose the option that best reflects how your body feels right now, and we’ll refine the approach during your consultation. 3. Is every session personalised?
Yes. Every session begins with a brief consultation to understand your needs, preferences, and any relevant health considerations. Treatments are adapted on the day based on how your body presents.
4. Do you work from a studio or offer mobile massage?
Both. Appointments may take place in our studio at Unit 35, Alpha House, 100 Borough High St, London SE1 1LB for the ease of our clients, or as an outcall to your preferred location/residence, subject to suitability and availability.
5. What areas do you cover for outcall appointments?

6. What do I need to prepare for an outcall massage?
Please ensure there is enough space for a massage table, a clean and quiet environment, safe access to the property, and that pets are kept away from the treatment area during the session.
7. Are outcall massages strictly professional?
Yes. All services provided by The Grounded Body are strictly professional and therapeutic. Any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session without any refunds.
8. What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax before and after your session. During treatment, you will be appropriately draped at all times.
9. Do I need to arrive early?
Arriving a few minutes early is recommended, as it allows time to settle and begin your session on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session while still being charged at the full booked rate.
10. What happens if I’m late?
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid disruption to other appointments. The full session fee remains chargeable as per your original booking.
11. What is your cancellation policy?
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged at 100% of the session fee.
12. Is massage therapy suitable if I have an injury or medical condition?
In many cases, yes - but this depends on the condition. Please disclose any injuries, medical conditions, or health concerns during booking checkout or consultation so treatment can be adapted safely.
13. Will massage be painful?
Massage should not be painful. Some techniques may involve deeper pressure, but this is always adjusted to your comfort level. You are encouraged to communicate at any point during your session.
14. How will I feel after my massage?
Many clients feel relaxed and lighter after a session. Some may experience mild soreness, especially after deeper work, which usually settles within a day or two.
15. Should I drink water after my massage?
Yes. Staying hydrated after your session can help support circulation and recovery and may reduce post-treatment soreness.
16. How often should I have massage therapy?
Frequency varies depending on your needs. While a single session can be beneficial, in many case consistent treatment is often more effective for managing ongoing tension, stress, or physical demands.
17. Do you offer corporate or workplace massage?

Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in advance. Payments are securely processed through Shopify Payments and in person at our studio. Prices may vary depending on treatment type, session duration, and whether the appointment is clinic-based or an outcall.
